About 30-40% of rehearsal time should be spend “off-task” (not rehearsing, playing instruments). Taking a walk through the halls, getting a drink, having a dance party, playing a game, etc., are ways to build relationships and have fun! We’ve put together this list of ideas for games and activities you can do as an entire ensemble or even in your mentoring groups.
