Choosing Your Instrument

The first step to playing music is choosing your instrument! The instrument choices are different depending on whether you are joining the BAND or the ORCHESTRA, so make sure you know which one before you choose. Listen to the sound the instrument makes and think about how you will feel when you play it.

Try to be BRAVE! Don't just choose the instrument that looks "easy."

What if you choose an instrument and it just doesn't work out? The music store that you rent from will gladly switch it out for a different one and we'll send you new materials at any point - no problem!
