Midwest
We are so excited for the opportunity to perform with your ensemble!
What music can our students play? Anything of your choice. Please send us the score as soon as possible and we will write modified parts for each child. Some musicians play as little as one note when it is chord appropriate, so the difficulty level that the piece starts with does not matter.
Seating: We typically include 6-8 students with disabilities + 2 mentors for each student. One mentor is seated with the other standing or kneeling as appropriate. If we have 7 students (as pictured here), the total stage change will be 7 music stands and 14 chairs.
Inclusion in your program: This is totally up to you! Most ensembles choose to see our group as a soloist.
Please place the combined piece anywhere in your program.

Rehearsal: Because of school and travel, our musicians will not be in Chicago until the day of the performance. We’d ask that you set aside 10 minutes at some point during your 4pm dress rehearsal to run through the piece twice with us. Please let us know specifically what time when you know that information.
At the concert: Our musicians will be seated in the front row on the wings of both sides of the stage so they can climb the stairs as quickly as possible.
We will perform at your 5:30pm performance only.
Attached below are logos for your use, a blurb that can be edited for the program, and a script to read during the concert that you are welcome to edit/add to. We will add school names as we get closer to the event. Most ensembles do not read the script exactly as written but add their own flare to it and we love that!
